need and want ~ Rather than for the Style of session.
The therapists who work at DM&WC decide on their "level" of competency and they determine their rates. We consult with you prior to your appointment, so you are sure your goals for your session
are truely met at a fair price!
- Massage Rates: All rates include a complimentary application of "Diamond Hot-Packs" (fabulous Moist Heat Packs the therapist uses on your back and neck to relax your muscles and calm your nervous system) and Topical Analgesics (at your request) as part of any 30 minute or longer session. Sessions lengths may be scheduled for any 15 minute time increment.
- Rates are different for House & Hotel-calls, onsite chair massage events,
massage parties, etc. Please call for quotes.
- Hint: If you are looking for a great Relaxation massage, you may choose from any 'level' of therapist shown below.
If you need more Corrective, "Fix-It" , deep-tissue or specific work, we highly suggest you see a level II or III, a rehabilitation therapist,
or the Director of our Center for Active Myofascial TherapyTM
--> Please consider: You may benefit more from a 1/2 hour session with a higher level
(more experienced ) therapist due to their expertise,
rather than a longer session with a lower level (newer) therapist.
(You will end up paying about the same, but you will receive a more specific,
detailed session by a more experienced therapist!)

Rates shown below reflect the qualifications, training of the therapist, and experience "level" providing the session.

Level I - Apprentices:
Apprentice sessions focus on de-stressing and relaxation but also to improve circulation and (if you request) a deeper massage to get rid of muscular tension and improve joint flexibility! As part of the therapist's training, we may ask you to please take a few minutes after your massage to complete a quick written evaluation form.
Please note: Due to the fact Level I therapists are still perfecting their craft ~ We absolutely DO NOT reccommend these beginner therapists if your goal is anything other than relaxation of stress and tight muscles.

Intermediate level of training and experience; offer a wide variety of relaxing and deep-tissue massage styles which is perfect for you if you have aches, pain, and stress.

Level III Therapist:
These are the people to see if you have any specific needs, are requesting a more unusual technique of massage or have a complicated physical history which calls for a higher level of competencey and skill.

Couple's / Friend's Massage:
Two therapists, for two clients, in One Room: complete with candles and

Rehabilitation Therapist
Rehabilitation rates are 'fee for service'. This means we bill per the therapy received rather than by the time. We do offer you a cash discount if no insurance billing is needed and you pay for your service at the time you receive it. The discounted cash rates for rehabilitation therapy are:
$65.00 /30 minutes $115.00 / 50 minutes
Evaluation / Assessments and Other Services:
Ergonomic Assessments, Postural Education, Fitness Programs, Weight Management Programs, Massage Classes, Body Mechanics for New Moms & Dads. Most of these services are provided by our Center's director, Irene Diamond, R.T. but we also have a variety of experts we can contact depending on your needs.
Rates vary per therapy or program. (fee-for-service.)
