(This weight-loss fitness program works best if you and I meet together in person, but, if you are too far to come to SF or do not want to have me fly out to meet you,
we can in most cases provide you the program over the phone and internet.)

Let me determine, scientifically, what your ideal, realistic healthy weight should be based on specifics such as your body type, activity level, age and gender. Then we design a program for your needs, time-frame, life-style, etc.
You might find it helpful to have your body composition measured with a tool called a skin-fold caliper. This Body Compensation Assessment will allow me to determine how much of your body is ``lean body weight" comprised of your bones, muscles, teeth, etc., and how much of your body is actual fat. Once your body fat percentage is computed you will have a much more accurate reading of your body and this will help me determine an eating and exercise program best for you. This and much more information will be covered once we begin to work together!
I'll also help you with nutrition and show you how to make the right food choices so you know what and when to eat. You will also learn an effective, easy exercise program to burn calories and increase your fitness and strength level.
Please note:
I will only work with you if you are willing to exercise. You want to be successful with your weight loss and Get Fit, but without physical movement it just won't be permanent. I don’t want to waste your time or your money, so if you are not willing to incorporate some movement into your program, I kindly suggest you seek help from somewhere else.

To Start:
• Together we determine your current knowledge on weight management issues such as how to make the right food choices, deciphering labels, etc.
• Fitness Evaluation and Personal Body Fat Assessment (If you want)

• Discus lifestyle considerations such as being a vegetarian, eating on the road while traveling, breast feeding, etc.
The Get Fit Program:
• I use all of your information to design a personalized Get Fit (and weight-loss program if you need it) just for you. Your program will include three components:

Scheduling:
We work with you on an initial basis of twice a week, for 4 weeks (a total of eight sessions). In our years of experience we have found this to be the right amount of time to commit to learning new things and changing old habits for successful weight loss. By the end of the 8th session you should feel confident in how to proceed and maintain your program. By the end of your first month you will have lost 5 - 10 pounds! After the first month, I am happy to schedule ongoing individualized support as needed.
